Corruption runs through your veins and drives your desire to become the most notorious criminal leader since Jabba the Hutt. Spread corruption throughout the galaxy using new strategic gameplay elements to influence other factions, steal their funds, slow their production, spy on them and more.

Fantastically Entertaining.

Reviewer: Guitarzan,
I'm not going to go into details as you can read the previous reviewers' posts. This game is extremely entertaining (and difficult) in story mode. But I find myself enjoying the galactic conquests more and more. The add-on to Star Wars EAW has one particular map in which 55 planets are available for you to corrupt, liberate, or conquer. Resectively, you can play as either of the 3 factions. The only drawback to this game is I wish LA (LucasArts) would have made accompanying storylines for the Rebellion and the Empire in story(campaign) mode. Unfortunately you can only play as the Consortium in campaign mode. Otherwise, I have had the game for a couple of months now...I have beat it three times and I have played each of the galactic maps at least one time. Would recommend to any fan of Empire at War.
A great sequel for a great game

Empire at War was fun already, but this expansion pack brings several improvements over the core version. To start with it adds lots of new units for the Rebels and Empire (most of them from fan favorite Expanded Universe Series such as Dark Forces or the Zahn novels). It also brings to life several new worlds both from the Saga and the Expanded Universe, each with unique characteristics that aid in the gameplay. Then the new civilization, The Consortium, constitutes a refreshing experience for the Star Wars series. With unique new units, an interesting strategy and a balanced AI in the game, it proves quite a treat for the entry player and the experienced one alike. Summing up the game is a must buy for Star Wars fans and Strategy game players alike.
How this expanision makes the game even better

I like the expansion so much and I recommend it to other people. I like to bribe opponents and take planets by by passing them with raid ships. I personally like the Empire the best because they can easily beat the other opponents. I think this game is the best game in the sense that you can command many troops and attack others across the galaxy.

I hope you were swayed by my review.
The best effort.

If you've played any of the Age of Empire games or anything similar, this is like it, but even better. Plus it's Star Wars, so if you're a fan of the movies, now you get to play them. You can take control of a fleet of ships out in space or you can battle on land (and use your Space Cruisers and Bombers to attack people on planet side as well). Plus you get to be all the heroes from the movies. Short of a first person shooter, this is the best way to immerse your self in the Star Wars universe (and in some ways it is better). This is lots of fun and has different difficulty levels so anyone in the family can play. My eight year old son can play the easy level and I play the medium or hard, depending if I have allies or not.

Now with this expansion you can also control the criminal element of society. It just makes a great game better. I recommend this to all Star Wars fans and anyone who likes fleet space battles.
Great addition to Empire at War

I thought I would comment on this game and let you all in on something I had to find out by going to Lucas Arts. When I bought my new computer with Vista 64 on it, I was excited to load my favorite games onto it from my old laptop. I loaded Empire at War, and ot worked fine, but Forces of Corruption didn't want to work. I love Forces of Corruption because it added the new Death Star and Vader' Super Star Destroyer in the Galatic Conquest Mode. I was really upset that it didn't work. I later found out that it couldn't run because I had too much RAM (6GB). In order to play it, I have to reduce the amount of RAM the computer will run on while I am playing the game. Its pretty easy to switch back and forth, but I wish that the people who made this game would have made sure it was able to run on high levels of RAM like the original is.

Anyway, as far the game goes, I love the additions. The only thing I didn't like was the how annoying it gets while in Galatic Conquest mode, Zan's gang is always corrupting your planets. But once you knock out enough of their planets they tend to leave you alone more. I like playing as the Empire because you get to use the new Death Star which can also destroy ships, and not just planets. You also get to use Vader's Super Star Destroyer. Combine the two of them plus a few extra Star Destroyers, and no one stands a chance against you.
