"Not really much to say,but that its a great game worth playing and the different variety of characters makes it interesting even with its expansion!"

Had played the initial release of Sacred awhile ago, and decided to get a couple of copies of the Gold for our new laptops. The DVD has one huge executable file that takes forever for the DVD drive to read. Be prepared to hear all sorts of whirring & clicking, but if you wait long enough you can launch the file... more whirring, clicking & waiting. Go make a sandwich, watch a movie, take the dog for a walk... after some time the game will finish loading & installing. After that the game plays great. Note I am using Vista 64bit OS.
Some folks had issues with the reg key numbers. I read that some of the copies had printing errors that swapped the numbers around. Try using the Underworld key when registering Sacred & Use the Sacred key to register the Underworld Expansion.
Haven't tried multi-player on this yet.

Old School Greatness

Just picked up the Gold Edition. It seems these tech problems are hit/miss. I had no problems installing, putting in cd keys or anything else. perhaps many of these issues have been addressed, but even if you do encounter anything, there are plenty of resources to fix the problem. Nevertheless, this is a classic hack/slash old school game, that feels like the epic RPG's of WOW or Guild Wars, minus the monthly fees. I have yet to play on-line, however I did notice quite a few active servers, and playing local LAN could be great fun with the family. I think for just about any computer made within the last few years, you won't have any problems playing it. And for 10 bucks, its really great entertainment.

Fun RPG for people that like a game that has a sense of humor, and enjoys finding a lot of easter eggs.

You really have to wait forever for this game to install. But if you wait it will play fine. And i keep hearing people having problems with cd keys. Funny because the game never asked for them in my install. Fun old school game once you get it going.
