If you’re talking about a good recorder to record gameplay and put it on a video-sharing website like Youtube, I’d suggest downloading Hypercam 2. It’s free, but your recorded video will have a little Unregistered Hypercam 2 thing in the top left corner that’s size depends on how big you made the recording area. (The bigger the area, the smaller the icon.)

Hypercam 2 doesn’t take much to learn how to operate and it’s fast if you know the Hot Keys.

I had a program called playclaw. Was pretty good, seemed basic but worked well in XP. I had it in Vista and had some problems. I ended up getting it free through a promotion (free for 1 day) but when I went to update it last night in Vista is went back to the shareware version.

its 29.99 to buy it which is a little more then I want.

Wegame is good and free but the best and most practical one for me is Xfire.

As i ALWAYS have xfire on for pm when i am palying (msn now supported woot!) i never miss a moment that i want to capture. In multiplayer sometimes you see something that you want to recored and if you dont have a recorder already open then you are going to miss it. As almost every gamer has xfire already installed it makes it easyer to record those vital moments
